Wymering Manor

Historic Site, Cosham

The oldest surviving building in Portsmouth, dating from at least the twelfth century with later additions. The grade II* listed manor house stands on Old Wymering Lane and has served as a farmhouse, youth hostel and community venue over the centuries. Local groups have campaigned for its restoration and continued use as a community asset.
