Medina Road
Street guide, Cosham
A residential street running east from the High Street into the heart of one of Cosham's most densely built Victorian neighbourhoods. Medina Road is lined with two-storey terraced houses dating from the late nineteenth century, many with bay windows and small front gardens. The street has a tightly packed, urban feel typical of speculative Victorian development. Parking is at a premium, with most residents relying on on-street spaces. The road connects the High Street to the wider area towards Drayton, and it carries a reasonable amount of through traffic. Corner shops and takeaways serve the local streets. The properties are popular with first-time buyers and renters because of their affordability relative to other parts of the city.
